History

In 1689, our ancestors acquired this lovely wheat mill and the vast surrounding property at the foot of the Palmberg rock faces.

Since that time, the mill wheel has fallen silent. The focus is on quality of the wine: expertise began to take shape and methods changed.

At present, “Mon Vieux Moulin” is a snynonym for high grade, well groomed wines.

The team of DUHR Frères

Eleven generations of the Duhr family have been grooming these vineyards with love and a passion for wine.

The soil is any winemaker’s fundamental heritage. Our 14 hectares of vineyards are cultivated according to well-reasoned principles and using organic fertilizers.

Our purpose is not to obtain a certification, but rather to follow our conviction that working with nature will always produce the best results. Our authentic vaulted cellars were carved out of the hillside.

New barrels of solid oak casks and small stainless steel thermal-regulated vats are maintained at a constant temperature in these cellars.
